To our Six One Six Vision Center Families,
To help prevent further spread of COVID-19, and in compliance with guidelines from the CDC and American Academy of Ophthalmology, we will be scaling down our practice to provide urgent and emergent care only after today, March 20.
In addition, and with the health and safety of our team and patients at the forefront of our minds, the following changes will take place immediately while we all do our parts to fight this pandemic:
- Our office hours will be reduced from 10:00am – 3:00pm, Monday through Friday. We will not be open to the public during this time, but will be available to answer the phones and respond to messages regarding any eye emergencies.
- We will have a small table set up outside of our office we will utilize to coordinate the pick-up of any glasses and contact lens orders that need to be picked up. This table will be disinfected before and after each order pick-up. If you are not comfortable coming to the office to pick up your glasses or contact lenses, we will mail them to you at no cost.
We are hopeful that these changes are only in effect for the next two weeks. However, due to the rapid changes with COVID-19, we cannot make any guarantees.
Now more than ever, we need to take care of ourselves, our families, and our communities as best we can, while practicing safe social distancing recommendations. We will get through these difficult times together, and I promise you our office and our team will be here to support you as best we can during these changes, and willl be even stronger once we have “flattened the curve” and can return to normal.
Be well, stay strong, take care of each other. See you soon.
– Dr. Ryan
